Gmail connection information
Read your original Gmail, with your permission.
The Richards Family Dashboard is a private household tool. Its optional Gmail connection lets the account owner choose which Gmail accounts to connect, then lets approved family agents search and read selected messages, threads, and attachments on request.
How it works
- Choose an account. The owner starts a connection in the private dashboard and personally chooses the Google account and approves Gmail read-only access at Google.
- Ask for specific mail. Approved family agents can search or read the connected accounts on demand. Results retain the original Gmail account, message, and thread references; Gmail remains the source.
- Disconnect when needed. The owner can remove a connection in the dashboard or revoke the app’s grant from the Google account.
The connection cannot send, change, or delete mail. It does not copy a whole inbox into the dashboard, and it does not automatically monitor mail or send appointment alerts.

This website only explains the Gmail connection. It is not the dashboard, does not sign you into Google, and does not show or handle your email.
